Welcome to Fortune Hiya Hotel

Fortune Hiya Hotel stands as a practical choice for travelers seeking an affordable, centrally located stay in Taipei’s vibrant Datong District. With a solid rating of 3.7, this budget-friendly hotel offers clean, modest rooms that serve well for short stays, quarantine periods, or transient visits. Its proximity to key transport hubs like Taipei Main Station and Beimen Station, combined with easy access to bustling attractions such as Ningxia Night Market and Xi Men Ding, makes it a convenient base for exploring the city.

Guests consistently praise the hotel’s prime location and the friendly, attentive service provided by the staff. The reception team is noted for their responsiveness, creating a welcoming environment despite the hotel’s no-frills approach. Rooms are simple but well-maintained, featuring air conditioning and recently renovated bathrooms—though space is limited, especially considering the competitive price point. Some rooms offer windows, which brighten the space, while interior rooms cater well to those prioritizing quiet and function over views.

A standout aspect of Fortune Hiya Hotel is its adherence to health and safety guidelines, a critical factor for those needing anti-epidemic accommodations or quarantine stays. Reviews report punctual meal deliveries and stringent no-contact service protocols, underscoring the hotel’s commitment to guest well-being. While the Wi-Fi may be hit or miss, and the hotel lacks luxurious amenities such as a pool or pet-friendly services, the essentials are thoughtfully covered with free breakfast, laundry services, airport shuttle options, and smoke-free environments.

Fortune Hiya Hotel’s charm lies in its balance between utility and comfort. It is not a place for leisurely indulgence but rather a dependable sanctuary for travelers who value cleanliness, location, and pragmatic service. The honest simplicity of the rooms paired with the hotel’s accessibility to Taipei’s public transport system, including Easycard compatibility, empowers guests to navigate the city effortlessly.

In sum, Fortune Hiya Hotel excels as a gateway to Taipei’s urban and culinary delights without burdening guests with high costs. It’s ideal for practical travelers, business visitors, and those requiring a safe, well-located spot to rest and recharge before continuing their journey. Its clean environment, considerate staff, and central position make it a solid pick in a city full of options.

Need to fly back Taiwan to visit my mom in emergency room. I have to find a reasonable price Anti-epidemic Hotel to stay for 15 days required by Taiwan law. Price is very good and do have a window. Room is not that big but pretty clean.

Good location near mrt, near family mart and many good breakfast shop, near Ning Xia night market. Friendly and helpful receptionist (both day and night time ladies). Room is clean, bathroom is newly renovated, the bed and pillow is good and comfy. The only downside for me is the room is too small for the price and no breakfast.

Commments before are to be a little bit changed. There must be renovated No smell in the room except in the elevator. Location would be one of your choices. Do not expect any services from the staff.

Don’t know why the reviews are so low on google. For a budget hotel, it was very good. We got a inner 2 twin room with no windows with hot breakfast included. It is perfect for just coming back to sleep at night (not really for those who want to leisurely spend time in their room). The hotel is a 6 minute walk from the Taipei main station airport express train which is Greg for those with early flights out. The hotel breakfast doesn’t start until 7 though which was the and only thing I wish they could change. Check in is at 3pm.

Good location, nice clean rooms, and excellent service. Better than expected from a budget hotel. Only giving it a 4 because the wifi was as some other reviewers have said; a bit dodgy, and the bathroom door easily locked us out from the inside (Standard double room). Higher score due to excellent service and friendly staff.

Stayed here 15 days as part of my hotel quarantine. All the meals and delivery were sent to me in timely manner. The room was cleaned before I checked in and the no contact guidelines were followed throughout even until I checked out.

I stayed here for quarantine. The room was in good condition and had a long table to work from. I ordered the vegan meals and they were often tasty. The bed was hard, but surprisingly not uncomfortable. The staff was responsive via Line messenger. My only real problem was that someone in an adjacent room was a heavy smoker and there isn't much that can be done in the situation. I left the AC and fan on or else the smell would come in.

This is an old hotel (without fancy toilet facilities) just basic room. Recommended for travellers as it is located nearby the train station with easy access to whole of Taipei. For overseas travellers, pls get an Easycard and you can use it for all public transport anywhere in Taiwan (High Speed rail you need to buy seperate ticket). Walking distant to Xi Men Ding night market and under ground mall.
